Oisans
100 km and 50 km races connecting resorts and villages of Oisans territory. departure : les 2 alpes - half run : alpe d’huez - arrival : bourg d’oisans
2 routes > 3 races
EVENTS OPEN TO ALL.
It is a MTB French Cup event and it gives points for the UCI ranking (XC Marathon).

DEPARTURE > 9.00 AM
You will take the same route as for the 2006 World Championships!
A beautiful sporting route of 100 Km through Oisans, reserved for well-trained bikers! Starting in Les 2 Alpes, finishing in Bourg d’Oisans, passing through Alpe d’Huez and many other villages and resorts in Oisans. The route is technical and fast, even in the rain. The itinerary is mainly composed of fantastic “single track” downhills and mud tracks. This event will allocate UCI points (Cl: XCM E1) and points for the FFC 2008 French Cup.
Event open to all (over 19). Medical certificate required for non licence-holders.
100 KM COURSE DESCRIPTION
DEPARTURE > 11.00 AM
You like to compete and are in good physical condition? Then this race is for you! A very beautiful route for MTB enthusiasts, through the most beautiful sites of Oisans.
Event open to all (over 16) with a medical certificate required for non licence-holders.
50 KM COURSE DESCRIPTION
DEPARTURE > 11.05 AM
You will take the same route as for the timed event, but without the pressure of the clock! This is an endurance event, open to all (over 16), where everyone rides at their own pace … The route is magnificent, enjoy it and make the most of the beauty of the Oisans landscapes!

Form to be returned by July 9th 2008 at the latest, with full payment. You can register one day before the event at Bourg d’Oisans, or on the day of the event at Les 2 Alpes (5€ supplement). Licence-holders are requested to enclose a photocopy of their licence with payment. Non-licence holders must enclose a medical certificate (less than one year old), certifying the absence of any contraindication for the practice of mountain biking. Minors must enclose the parental consent form. Payment by bank or post office cheque (only French cheques accepted), payable to OISANS TOURISME.

There is a 5€ supplement for registrations on the day of the race.
Shuttle service before the race (to take participants and their bikes from Bourg d’Oisans to Les 2 Alpes). Please note: there will be no shuttle buses after the race.
Shuttle bus departure times:
Buses depart from Bourg d’Oisans (in front of the ‘mairie’ (town hall) / finishing point of the race). Journey time Bourg d’Oisans - Les 2 Alpes + unloading: 50 minutes.
