ALPE D’HUZES

On the 4th of June, 1 000 Dutch cyclists will climb 6, 7 or 8 times the famous road between Bourg d’Oisans and Alpe d’Huez.

This event is organized to raise money for the KWF, a Dutch Cancer Society.

In 2008, the event raised 3 611 541 Euros. In 2009, the organisers expect to raise more than 7 000 000 Euros! All the money is given directly to KWF, to help fight cancer.
